Yukon Suspension Bridge and Summit Tour from Skagway

GRAB YOUR PASSPORTS, BECAUSE WE ARE HEADING NORTH TO THE YUKON!

Yukon Suspension Bridge Tour – White Pass & Scenic Yukon Adventure

Mountain passes stretching into the distance.
Alpine landscapes carved by time.
A walk across one of the Yukon’s most unique landmarks.

If you’re looking to go beyond Skagway and see what lies on the other side of the mountains, then the Yukon Suspension Bridge from Skagway is your ticket.

My name’s Alex, a local Skagway guide who’s spent years running this road and learning its stories. Instead of squeezing onto a crowded tour bus, you’ll travel in a small group led by someone who actually lives here and knows every turn along the way.

We’ll follow one of the famous trails of the stampeder’s rushing north. Through the White Pass, and roll straight into Canada, where the landscape opens up and the crowds fall away.

And along the way… we’ll make our way to one of the Yukon’s most unique stops.

🏔 White Pass Scenic Drive

From there, we begin heading north out of Skagway along the Klondike Highway, one of the most famous routes of the Gold Rush era.

As we climb higher, the landscape shifts quickly.

On our excursion, you’ll see:

• Waterfalls cascading down granite cliffs
• Rugged mountain terrain
• Alpine lakes and sub-arctic landscapes
• Historic stretches of the Gold Rush trail

Before long, you’ll understand why this drive is considered one of the most beautiful in Alaska.

🇺🇸➡️🇨🇦 Crossing into Canada

Not far from the town limits, we will cross the U.S.–Canada border and officially enter the Yukon.

From here, everything changes.

The mountains stretch wider. The valleys open up. The feeling shifts from coastal Alaska to something quieter, broader, and a little more wild.

And just like that, you’re in a different world.

🌉 Yukon Suspension Bridge Experience

Then, just when you think you’ve seen it all, we arrive.

Along the way, our destination reveals itself in the Tormented Valley — the Yukon Suspension Bridge.

Here, you’ll have time to:

• Walk across the suspension bridge
• Take in sweeping views of the landscape
• Snap photos from every angle
• Explore the area at your own pace

This must-see stop is a memorable one.

If you’d like to learn more about the bridge itself, you can visit the official Yukon Suspension Bridge website here.

🌄 Scenic Yukon Landscapes

But truth be told, this tour isn’t just about the bridge.

It’s about everything in between.

On the Yukon side of the pass, the scenery opens up into:

• Wide, sweeping mountain views
• Quiet sub-arctic terrain
• Fewer crowds and more space
• A landscape that feels untouched and expansive

All together, it creates an experience that feels completely different from Skagway, even though it’s just up the road.
